Menu:
Breakfast- organic oatmeal w/blueberries
Lunch- dill lemon pepper tilapia, brown rice, and onion-mushroom-spinach saute’
Snack- apple berry smoothie
Dinner- grilled portabella salad
Today was a really great day. I’m starting to feel really good. It’s hard to explain, but all I know is that I don’t feel bad–no sluggishness, no weird abdominal pains, no headaches. I just feel good. It’s really pretty cool. I still get a lull in energy around 2:00 or 3:00. But after eating a snack, and taking a few minutes to just rest, I feel better again. In spite of an acute awareness of the presence of food that I can’t eat but want to eat, I’m very happy with the way the detox is going. The food I’ve been preparing is actually really good. I don’t necessarily feel like I’m sacrificing in the area of eating, except maybe when it comes to what I have the choice to eat. Today, I’d say I’m an 8! Yay!
