Homemade Halloween Candy
Do you remember the days when trick or treating included home-made delicious goodies? In the day and age that we live in those special treats are no longer feasible for Halloween treats. Or are they?
Maybe we can’t give them out from our front doors like we did in the “good ol’days,” but certainly we could give them out at our Halloween celebrations. Adding retro classics like popcorn balls or peanut brittle would be definite crowd pleasers. Or better yet try something more modern like chocolate covered Halloween strawberries. My aunt Cindy does wonders with chocolate and anything from pretzels to Ritz crackers with peanut butter.
So I’m planning on making an assortment of homemade goodies for my nanny’s Halloween party this weekend. I hope that everyone enjoys eating them as much as I know I’m going to love making them.
