Useless Food Survey by Beth
So every now and then I like to do those stupid myspace surveys to pass the time. I’m always trying to come up with funny/witty answers, but I don’t think I manage to be as funny as I would like! So here is my food survey. No hard-hitting, ground-breaking news here, just some good, old, useless info!
The Food Survey (from myspace)
Pick One:
McDonald’s, Burger King, In-n-Out?
McDonald’s if it’s just me. Burger King if I’m with my children- our BK has an indoor play room
Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Sprite?
Sierra Mist. I really like the flavor, and no caffeine.
Dasani, Aquafina, Evian?
Aquafina, though I prefer the water from my fridge, it’s filtered, a lot cheaper, and more environmentally friendly
Trident, Dentyne, Crest?
I don’t chew gum, because of my TMJ. (Yeah, I have a bunch of little, annoying things wrong with me!)
Almond, Peanut, Cashew?
Cashews
Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate?
Milk Chocolate
Sobe, Gatorade, Powerade?
Sobe, though I only have about 5 a year
Lays, Ruffles, Pringles?
Lays- Salt ‘n Vinegar or Plain
Toast, English Muffin, Croissant?
Croissant. Yum
Sweet, salty, sour, bitter, spicy?
All but bitter.
OTHER QUESTIONS:
What do you absolutely refuse to eat?
Canned spinach or asparagus. Ew…slimy.
The most disgusting thing you have ever eaten?
Poi
The longest you have gone without food or drink?
18 hours maybe? I don’t know. Never been where I couldn’t get to food or drink
Do you watch cooking or food shows?
ALL THE TIME!
Do you know how to cook?
I like to think so.
When did you learn how to cook?
I first started cooking when I was in middle school. My mom was going to college, so I learned to cook.
What did you last eat for breakfast?
Cinnamon biscuit rolls. So good.
What did you last eat for lunch?
Philly cheese steak sandwich
What did you last eat for dinner?
Red beans and rice, cornbread, and sliced tomatoes
Would you rather eat alone, with strangers, or with friends and family?
Friends and family.
Would you say you have good table manners?
I have comfortable table manners. Most people would feel comfortable eating with me, though I don’t think I’d be comfortable eating with royalty or anything!
If you have pets, do they ever get table scraps?
No. Chica the cat only gets cat food.
Ever eaten dog, cat, other animal food?
Yes, unfortunately my dad and sister tricked me into eating a dog biscuit when I was about 4. They said it was a cookie!
First thing you usually feel like eating when you wake up?
It changes daily. Though I usually prefer something sweet, this morning it was cinnamon rolls
Do you chew gum?
Never. My jaw pops too badly.
Health food or junk food?
Both. The latter in moderation.
Are you overweight?
No, but I’d love to lose 10 more pounds. (Stupid pregnancy weight, the last 10 pounds are always the hardest to get rid of!)
Have you ever been on a diet?
Yeah, but I never really stick to them.
Are you allerigic to any kind of food?
Mango ?
What’s your favorite pizza topping?
I like everything! Ooh and I love to try weird pizza toppings, like asparagus and banana peppers.
Organic or not?
I like to feed my children organic products, especially those that come from animals like milk, cheese, and meat. The added hormones freak me out. Unfortunately it’s so expensive, so I have to pick and choose.
Are you vegetarian?
No, but it’s not unusual for me to eat vegetarian meals. Sometimes I just don’t want any meat.
Favorite Food?
Too many to name! Whatever I’m currently craving.
Vegetable of the Year?
Asparagus
Ever eaten spam?
Yeah. We were pretty poor growing up, so spam was a cheap way to have meat. And though my sister say that S.P.A.M. stands for “Some Parts Are Meat,” she’s wrong, it’s just a ham shoulder. I hear it’s a delicacy in Hawaii!
